Privacy Policy

Ember: Fasting Tracker · Last updated 14 September 2026

Your privacy matters. This policy explains what Ember does — and does not — do with your information.

What we store

Ember stores the data you enter — your fasts, schedules, mood check-ins, weight entries and preferences — on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, in your own private iCloud account so it can sync across your devices. We do not have access to this data and never receive a copy of it.

Advertising

The free version of Ember shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect a device identifier and limited usage data. On first launch we ask, via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, whether you allow this; if you decline, ads are still shown but are non-personalized. You can remove ads entirely by subscribing to Ember Pro. See Google's policies at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Subscriptions

Ember Pro is sold through Apple. Purchases and renewals are handled by Apple; we never see your payment details.

Health data

Fasting, weight and mood information you log is personal to you and is treated as described above. Ember does not sell your data and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Children

Ember is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can delete any entry in the app at any time, and you can disable ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
