Privacy Policy — Every PDF: Scanner & Editor

This Privacy Policy explains how Every PDF: Scanner & Editor ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. We built the App to be private by design, and we keep the collection of data to an absolute minimum.

The short version: Your documents are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The only data collected is what our advertising partner (Google AdMob) needs to show ads in the free version.

1. Your documents stay on your device

Every tool in the App — scanning, converting, merging, OCR, signing, compressing, and the rest — runs locally on your iPhone using Apple's built-in frameworks. Your files, their contents, and any text we recognize are never sent to our servers (we don't operate any) and are never transmitted to third parties.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not require an account, name, email, or phone number.
We do not collect, view, store, or share the documents or images you process.
We do not sell any data.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App displays banner ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and process certain information, which can include:

Device advertising identifiers and device information
General usage and interaction data
Diagnostic and performance information

This data is collected by Google, not by us. The App is configured to request non-personalized ads where applicable. Google's handling of this data is governed by Google's own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.

You can remove ads entirely by subscribing to Every PDF Pro.

4. Purchases and subscriptions

Subscriptions (Every PDF Pro) are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase validation is handled by Apple's StoreKit. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. iCloud sync & backup

If you turn on iCloud Sync, your recent files and preferences are stored in your own private Apple iCloud account and synced across your devices by Apple. We have no access to this data. Manual backups you create stay on your device or wherever you choose to save them.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your choices

You can reset or limit ad tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.
You can remove ads and related data collection by subscribing to Pro.
You can delete all app data by removing the App from your device.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.
